Rubeus Hagrid is a dear friend to Harry. He had known Harry Potter right from his birth. He is also known as the keeper of Keys of Hogwarts. He lives in a small hut near hogwarts with his pet dog Fang. Later in the book he also becomes a teacher of Care for Magical Creatures and teaches wizards different types of magical creatures
